I have a really sad story. Megan Meier was 13 and she had a Myspace page. She met 'Josh Evans' there. 'Josh' was 16 but they didn't care. At first, 'Josh' was very nice to her and told her he thought she was hot. Then, he started saying mean things about her on the internet. 'Josh' called her 'fat and a slut'. Megan had ADHD and had some self esteem issues. 'Josh' even told her that 'the world would be a better place without you.' One night, Megan raced up to her room, crying. After hearing nothing for a long time, Megan's mom, Tina, became concerned. She walked up to Megan's room and saw her in her closet. Megan Meier commited suicide that night by hanging herself by a belt. She died the next day in the hospital. After that, her parents tried to get ahold of 'Josh' not to blame him but to tell him how hurtful words can be and give him a life lesson. But to the grieving parents horror, there was no 'Josh Evans'. He was created by a neighborhood mother, Lori Drew, whose daughter didn't like Megan. Lori, 48, created 'Josh Evans' to mock poor Megan. She knew that Megan had self esteem issues and completely ignored that. I still can't believe a FULLY GROWN ADULT would do such a cruel thing to 13-year-old girl with a low self esteem. That just disturbs me. Poor Megan never made it to 14. She had picked out a new dress to wear and had even bought a silver tiara. And her braces were coming off and she had lost some weight(that's why 'Josh' called her 'fat'). Now, her parents Ron and Tina, both are 37, who were childhood sweethearts, are getting a divorce and there only daughter is dead. All because some immature adult decided that instead of talking to Megan and her parents with her own daughter, she was gonna create a false myspace account, call it 'Josh Evans', look for Megan, tell her she was hot, then all of a sudden start trashing her and eventually drive her into suicide. Now the Meiers are burying Megan in the sleeveless polka dot dress with the silver tiara she never got a chance to wear when she was alive. MEGAN TAYLOR MEIER BORN NOV. 6 1992 DIED OCT. 17 2006
